Given its generous proportions in the standard two cabin layout, the 49 Eastbay HX offers more room than others in its class.  A well-appointed main salon provides a comfortable area for dining, relaxing and entertaining.  The master stateroom is located forward and features a private head with stall shower and queen size island berth.  The helm deck can be left open or easily shut off with a handsome canvas enclosure, thus providing comfortable all-weather cruising.

Built by Grand Banks Yachts and designed in partnership with C. Raymond Hunt, this deep-V hull provides for superior performance, speed and safety. With twin 660 HP engines, owners can expect a cruising speed of 26 knots, up to a top speed of 30 knots. This particular East Bay 49 has been kept in northern waters and is very well equipped and maintained in excellent condition.

With the large after deck, the living area can also extend outdoors with the addition of a couple of chairs. There is plenty of below deck storage for safety and mooring gear. The cockpit area is teak and holly sole for comfort and appearance.
Master Stateroom: 
The owner's stateroom boasts a large island berth - the most popular berth layout. It also includes two teak bureaus and a large hanging locker. There is plenty of walk around floor space. The private owner's head is equipped with a vacu-flush toilet system, vanity and sink and a separate shower stall with seating.
Other Staterooms: 
The guest cabin is available in either a double or twin single arrangement. Either arrangement has a hanging locker and immediate access to a separate head with and vanity. As the rest of the yacht, the sole is teak and holly, the furniture has the signature Grand Banks craftsmanship and the cabin is well lit and warmly appointed as a welcome retreat for guests.
Galley / Dinette: 
The Eastbay 49 features an efficient U-shaped galley with care-free Corian© countertops and a polished SS galley sink with single lever faucet. There are two refrigerator boxes and one top load freezer box along with cabinet space for dry good, china, and cookware. An opening portlight with screen provides plenty of natural lighting for the cook.
Salon: 
The main saloon of the Eastbay 49 features a comfortable U-shaped settee with thick high-density foam covered in Ultrasuede fabric. The focal point is the teak yacht table, a Grand Banks tradition, and chrome or brass reading lights. There is also shelf space behind the settee for books or personal effects.
